Font Licences

License Types
We offer six license types to cover different usage needs. Each license must be purchased separately based on your intended use.
1.1 Desktop/Print License
This license allows You to install and use the Fonts on a specific number of computers within Your Organization.
Usage: Print materials, PDFs, signage, and general offline designs.
Restrictions: The Fonts cannot be shared with external users or installed on unlicensed computers.
Embedding: You may embed the Fonts in non-editable PDFs, but embedding in editable files requires a different license.
Modification: You cannot modify, rename, or convert the Fonts into another format.
1.2 Web License
This license allows You to use the Fonts on websites via self-hosting.
Usage: Websites, blogs, landing pages, and online publications.
Restrictions: Limited to the number of monthly visitors specified in Your license. Additional visitors require an upgrade.
Hosting: Fonts must be self-hosted and cannot be used via third-party font hosting services unless otherwise permitted.
Embedding: Allowed only through CSS @font-face.
1.3 App/Game License
This license covers the use of Fonts within mobile applications, video games, and software.
Usage: Mobile apps, console games, PC/Mac software, and other interactive digital experiences.
Restrictions: One license per application/game. Multi-platform releases (iOS, Android, Windows) require separate licenses.
Embedding: Fonts may be embedded within an app but must not be extractable or accessible to end users.
Distribution: Fonts cannot be used in any way that allows users to generate text outside of the licensed application.
1.4 Broadcasting License
This license allows Fonts to be used in video, film, television, and streaming content.
Usage: TV shows, films, advertisements, streaming services (YouTube, Netflix, etc.).
Restrictions: Separate licenses are needed for different production titles. Unlimited usage requires an enterprise license.
Branding: If the Fonts are used in broadcast branding, a Logo/Wordmark License may also be required.
Embedding: Fonts cannot be embedded in publicly distributed templates or files.
1.5 Social Media License
This license allows Fonts to be used in social media content, including static and motion graphics.
Usage: Social media posts, videos, banners, and advertisements.
Restrictions: If the account exceeds a specific number of followers, an extended license is required.
Third-Party Usage: This license does not allow sharing the Fonts with external content creators or agencies.
Branding: If Fonts are part of a permanent brand identity on social media, a Logo/Wordmark License may be required.
1.6 Logo/Wordmark License
This license allows the Fonts to be used as part of a company’s logo, wordmark, or brand identity.
Usage: Company logos, trademarks, brand identities.
Restrictions: The Fonts cannot be sublicensed or shared with external parties.
Revenue-Based Pricing: Pricing is based on company size and revenue.
Exclusive Licensing: If You require exclusive rights to a custom typeface, contact Us for a separate agreement.
Usage Rescrictions
You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise alter or copy the Fonts, except as expressly permitted by this Agreement.
You may acquire a license on behalf of an end-user client, provided that the client agrees to and is bound by the terms of this Agreement. The Fonts cannot be used by both You and the client under a single license; additional licenses must be purchased for such usage.
Rights Reserved
All rights, title, and interest in the Fonts remain the exclusive property of Typografische. All rights not explicitly granted in this Agreement are reserved. You may not sell, lease, sublicense, assign, or transfer the Fonts or any associated rights under this Agreement without prior written consent.
Definitions
“Application” refers to any standalone software application compatible with operating system platforms such as macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android, provided the platforms support the font file formats provided by Typografische. Typografische does not guarantee technical support for platforms outside of these.
“Embed/Embedding” refers to using the Fonts in applications to style static or dynamic text. Embedding the Fonts is permitted only as explicitly stated in the license agreement. Embedding directly into physical devices or allowing third-party access to the Fonts through such devices is strictly prohibited.
“Your Organization” refers to the entity for which You, as an individual, work, including all internal employees and locations of business. Contractors, freelancers, and other third parties are not considered part of Your Organization unless explicitly authorized under this Agreement.
Other
Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Typografische reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately if You violate any of its terms. Upon termination, You must delete all copies of the Fonts and cease all use of them.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Fonts are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind.
Typografische shall not be held liable for any damages, including but not limited to lost profits or data, arising from the use or inability to use the Fonts.
Refund & License Modification Policy
All sales are final. Refunds are not available.
License upgrades may be available upon request.
Legal Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by European Union laws.
Any disputes will be resolved in the jurisdiction of Typografische’s headquarters.
